Why Choose Annaizu
Eligibility depends on the work you do
Being self employed does not make every role eligible for an Enhanced check. Describe your actual duties, who receives the service and how the work is arranged before choosing an application route.
Personal employees can also have an eligible route
The relevant guidance covers eligible personal employees as well as self employed people. Review the current DBS guidance and confirm the appropriate application process for your situation.
Keep the application reference available
Ask the Umbrella Body how you will receive your reference and follow progress after submission. The DBS tracking service uses your application reference and date of birth. Respond to any request for further information through the agreed contact.
Can a private customer apply on my behalf?
Under the route described in current DBS guidance, the eligible self employed person or personal employee applies through an Umbrella Body. A private customer should not assume they can make that application for you.
How It Works
1. Describe your role and working arrangement
2. Check the role's eligibility
3. Confirm the appropriate application route
4. Prepare role and identity information
5. Review the check type and total charge
